Sarah and Eddie’s wedding at The Candlewood Inn in Brookfield, Connecticut was such a beautiful day from start to finish. The weather was perfect, the vibe was easy and joyful, and the whole celebration had so much heart.

There are some wedding days that feel extra meaningful because you can tell the couple has truly waited for this moment. Sarah and Eddie had been together for a long time, and their day felt like such a sweet celebration of everything they had built together. It was emotional, joyful, and so worth the wait.

Sarah was such a bright presence all day. She is bubbly, warm, and so easy to be around, but she also has such a caring and gentle way about her. It makes perfect sense that she is a nurse. She has that kind of personality that makes everyone around her feel loved and taken care of.

There was also a deep tenderness to the day. Eddie’s mother had recently passed away, and there were moments where the emotions were incredibly raw. But rather than making the day feel heavy, it made the love surrounding Sarah and Eddie feel even more present. Their family and friends showed up with so much support, joy, and heart.

The Candlewood Inn was the perfect setting for their wedding. It is such a beautiful Connecticut wedding venue, with gorgeous grounds, lake views, and an elegant indoor space that still feels connected to the water. The ballroom has such a beautiful view, and it gives the whole reception this romantic, waterfront feeling.

We had so many pretty spots for portraits around the property. Between the lake, the grounds, the soft summer light, and the overall atmosphere of the venue, everything photographed beautifully. The Candlewood Inn has that perfect mix of relaxed, scenic, and elegant, which made it such a great backdrop for Sarah and Eddie’s wedding day.

Their reception was full of joy, music, and celebration. From the violin music to the energy on the dance floor, the whole evening felt like a true reflection of them. It was heartfelt without being overly serious, fun without feeling rushed, and beautiful in such a natural way.
