Rachel and Trevor had such a beautiful wedding day at Haley Mansion at the Inn at Mystic, with their ceremony taking place at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer in Groton, Connecticut. Their day had such a sweet, classic New England wedding feel, with a meaningful church ceremony, a trolley ride between locations, and a romantic reception back in Mystic.
The morning started with so much joy and excitement. One of the bridesmaids made the cutest champagne bottle covers, and they were such a fun detail to photograph. They added so much personality to the getting ready portion of the day, especially when the girls popped the champagne open and celebrated Rachel before heading to the church.
Rachel and Trevor chose to have a trolley bring everyone to the ceremony and back to the venue, which was such a charming touch. A wedding trolley always feels so timeless, especially for a day that includes both a beautiful church ceremony and a reception at a historic Mystic venue.
Their ceremony took place at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer in Groton. Rachel and Trevor are Catholic, and their faith was such a meaningful part of the day. There is something especially beautiful about a church wedding because the ceremony is not only about the love between the bride and groom, but about beginning married life before God, surrounded by family, friends, and prayer.
After the ceremony, everyone headed back to Haley Mansion at the Inn at Mystic for the reception. Haley Mansion is such a beautiful wedding venue in Mystic, Connecticut. It has that elegant, historic New England feeling while still being warm and welcoming for guests. The property gives couples so many lovely options for portraits, cocktail hour, and reception photos, and it is especially beautiful for anyone wanting a classic Connecticut wedding with a coastal Mystic feel.
One of the things I love about Haley Mansion is that it feels refined without feeling overly formal. The mansion itself is romantic and timeless, and the grounds have so much charm. It is the kind of venue that photographs beautifully throughout the day, from wedding party portraits to sunset photos to reception details.
Rachel and Trevor were such a sweet couple, and their wedding reflected that so naturally. The whole day felt joyful, thoughtful, and full of love. From the champagne in the morning, to their Catholic ceremony in Groton, to the trolley ride, to their celebration at Haley Mansion, every part of the day came together in such a beautiful way.
For couples planning a Mystic, Connecticut wedding, Haley Mansion at the Inn at Mystic is such a lovely venue to consider. It offers historic charm, beautiful grounds, and a wonderful location close to downtown Mystic. Paired with a church ceremony at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer, Rachel and Trevor’s wedding day had such a timeless and meaningful Connecticut wedding feel.
It was such an honor to photograph Rachel and Trevor’s wedding day and preserve all of the sweet, joyful, and faith-filled moments that made it their own.
