Gabby and Harrison’s wedding at Tyde at Walnut Beach was such a beautiful day from start to finish. Tyde is quickly becoming one of our favorite Connecticut wedding venues, and every time we are there, we are reminded why. It is clean, bright, modern, and right on the beach, which makes it feel like such a dream location for a wedding day.

We also have to say how much we love Rosa and her family. They are truly some of the kindest people to work with, and they always make us feel so welcomed and cared for. There is something really special about a venue where the space itself is beautiful, but the people behind it are just as wonderful. Tyde has that rare combination. It is modern and sleek, but still warm, inviting, and full of heart.

Tyde at Walnut Beach is literal perfection for couples who want a Connecticut wedding venue that feels fresh, coastal, and elegant. The space is bright and polished with such a clean modern feel, but then you step outside and you are right by the water. It gives couples the best of both worlds: a sophisticated wedding venue and a beachside setting all in one place.

The whole property photographs so beautifully. The light, the clean architecture, the coastal views, and the modern reception space all work together so well. It feels elevated without feeling cold, and beachy without feeling overly casual. For a Connecticut wedding venue, especially one right on Walnut Beach, it is such a dream come true.

A Cloudy Wedding Day That Felt Perfect

Gabby and Harrison’s wedding day was cloudy, but honestly, it ended up being so comfortable and perfect. The rain held off for us, which was such a gift, and the softer light gave the whole day such a calm and romantic feeling.

They chose not to do a first look, which made Gabby walking down the aisle such a powerful moment. There is always something so special about that first time a groom sees his bride during the ceremony, and Harrison’s reaction made it feel even more meaningful. It was one of those moments that reminded everyone why the tradition of waiting until the aisle can still be so beautiful.

Gabby and Harrison are the kind of people who are just easy to love. They both work in service-focused jobs, and you can tell that caring for other people is simply part of who they are. They have such generous hearts and show so much thoughtfulness toward the people around them. In a way, they really do feel like modern day saints with the amount of care, patience, and kindness they pour into others.

At the same time, their relationship is so lighthearted and easy. They have such a sweet friendship underneath everything, and their bond feels natural, peaceful, and full of joy. They were such a joy to photograph, but also just such a joy to be around. Some couples have a way of making the whole day feel calmer and happier, and Gabby and Harrison absolutely have that gift.

A Beautiful Vendor Team

This was also such a wonderful vendor team to work alongside. Everlasting Affairs helped the day feel smooth and beautifully cared for, and Confetti LLC brought such a lovely touch to the celebration. Crystal Salas Bridal created such a beautiful makeup look, and Larissa Lake & Co did an amazing job with hair. It was also so nice getting to see Lexi from Larissa Lake & Co again.

LI Sound DJ kept the celebration moving, and Puremotion Cinema was wonderful to work with. Max from Puremotion Cinema was especially awesome throughout the day, and it is always such a gift to work beside a video team that is kind, collaborative, and easygoing.
